Q:  What is the Colon?

A:  The colon also called the intestine is the last 5 feet of the digestive tract.

Q:  What is the primary function of the colon?

A:  To absorb water, electrolytes, vitamins and create and store waste products.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Q:  How often should I have a bowel movement?

A:  You should go 2-3 hours after every meal.

Q:  What if I do not have a bowel movement after every meal?

A:  The waste products and toxins accumulate in the colon and could compromise your health.
